I welcomed her when she arrived in this world and she welcomed me as I arrive in USA and on my first call at my new hospital. Born July 31st 2016 in early morning hours, Jaydelynn became the first baby I catch in Seattle. She would be the first in USA if I don’t count the first deliveries I attended during my residency in Cleveland, OH almost 11 years ago.
It was an incredible 24 hours and her birth in the morning and at the end of my shift erased all exhaustion we all had. It was a big celebration mixed with tears and laughter, smiles and many new Hellos. What a blessing it is to be present at Jaydelynn’s birth.
